Women's Golf Concludes Historic Fall at Mercer Invitational

10/31/2025 8:30:00 AM

CARROLLTON, Ga. - The final tournament of the fall for the UWG women's golf team tees off on Sunday as the Wolves compete in the Mercer Invitational at River Forest Golf Club in Forsyth.

And what a fall it's been for the Wolves and head coach Will Snodgrass who are averaging 296 over 14 rounds thus far and are ranked 162nd in the country which is sixth-best among Atlantic Sun Conference teams.

Snodgrass sends out the same five that he's used since a record-breaking performance at the Pirate Collegiate Classic and since that event the five in the lineup have posted excellent finishes including breaking their own 54-hole record a week later and setting a new team 18-hole record.

This week sees Emma Baier in the top spot in the lineup after an 11th place finish last time out. Sofia Mondragon is in the two spot and is followed by Hannah Barrett. Sophie Dhaliwal and Erin Sullivan round out the lineup.

The Wolves do have two individuals also making the trip this week as Anna Olesen and Keira Wolf will be in the field. Wolf makes her sophomore season debut while Olesen plays her third event of the season.

It's a nine-team field taking on the River Forest Golf Club layout with the Wolves competing as one of six Division I teams in the field. Tournament host Mercer and the Wolves are the only two Georgia-based teams in the field while Jacksonville joins UWG from the ASUN.
