CARROLLTON, Ga. - As the page turns into the offseason, a new chapter of UWG football will soon begin and the United Athletic Conference announced today the 2026 conference schedule bringing the Wolves one step closer to a full schedule for year three of FCS football.
The Wolves will play three home UAC games and three road games in league play, flipping the home and away opponents from 2024. The UAC does look different in 2026, of course, following the departure of the two Utah institutions.
West Georgia will begin the first of six consecutive league games with a trip to Roy Kidd Stadium on October 10, opening conference play for the second straight season against Eastern Kentucky.
October 17 brings the Wolves back to Carrollton for a showdown with Austin Peay, followed by a home game the following Saturday, October 24, against Tarleton State.
UWG then goes on the road for two straight, trekking to Abilene, Texas for a Halloween game against Abilene Christian. The Wolves then head to "The Stripes" in Conway, Arkansas to take on Central Arkansas on November 7.
The final UAC game of the season is set for November 14 as the Wolves host North Alabama at University Stadium.
A complete schedule including non-conference matchups, game times, and theme dates will be released at a later date.
