CARROLLTON, Ga. - UWG offensive lineman Sam Regina closed out his UWG career last month, and today the Helena, Alabama native was named to the United Athletic Conference All-Academic Team. 

A Master's of Business Administration student, Regina carries a 4.00 GPA in his graduate program and did it all while starting all 11 games at left guard in 2025 and serving as the graduate assistant for the UWG Blue Coats. 

On the field, Regina played in 95 percent of the Wolves' offensive snaps, helping the rushing attack average over 160 yards per game. More importantly, Regina was a leader that helped UWG go 8-3 in just their second season of FCS football in 2025. 

He becomes UWG Football's first All-Academic selection in the Division I era.

Regina has already earned two undergraduate degrees in business management and finance from UWG and graduates with his MBA this Friday.
