CARROLLTON, Ga.- After a record-breaking performance in the Wolves' season debut, junior jumper Isaiah McMichael has been voted ASUN Men's Field Performer of the Week.

McMichael, a Carrollton native and former Central High School standout, opened his second season with UWG in dominant fashion at the Commonwealth Opener on December 6. He earned first place in the high jump with a mark of 2.00m.

With that jump, McMichael not only secured the event win but also broke the UWG record, breaking his own previous mark of 1.87m set last season.

McMichael's first-place finish proved essential in helping the Wolves earn first place overall at the meet, kicking off the indoor season on the right track. 

The Wolves now head into the holiday break before returning to action on January 17 at Samford University.
