CARROLLTON, Ga. - The University of West Georgia Department of Athletics announced today a 2029 football matchup with Southeastern Conference foe Auburn, slated for week 10 on October 27, 2029. 

It will mark the first SEC game for the Wolves and the fifth announced FBS opponent for UWG. The game in Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium is also UWG's first announced matchup for 2029. 

Auburn is UWG's third-closest geographic FBS opponent, behind Kennesaw State and Georgia Tech. 

UWG has previously announced 2026 FBS games against Kennesaw State and Arkansas State while the Wolves travel to Big XII opponent Cincinnati in 2027. The Wolves have also scheduled a 2028 game at Troy.
