CARROLLTON, Ga. – For the fourth year, the University of West Georgia Department of Athletics is proud to launch the 2025 Crowdfunding Campaign, focused on strengthening our programs and enhancing the student-athlete experience for more than 400 UWG student-athletes.
The competition was fierce among teams a year ago, and friends, family, alumni, and fans will have the opportunity to make a gift through October 24 on the UWG Athletics crowdfunding website. UWG fans provided more than $65,000 in crowdfunding campaign dollars a year ago, providing vital support for UWG Athletics teams.
The 2025 crowdfunding campaign aims to support all UWG student-athletes and help them maintain the resources necessary to maintain a top-tier presence among athletic programs in the ASUN in all sports outside of football and in the United Athletic Conference in football.
"This exercise for our donors and supporters is vital for us to 'prime the pump' for our teams' future success. Specifically, our teams and our overall department need your support to help close the gap on scholarships," said Director of Athletics, Jason Carmichael. "Supporting student-athlete scholarships and other immediate needs through crowdfunding presents a tremendous opportunity for our donors and supporters. Thanks in advance for taking advantage of this window to support the momentum around UWG Athletics."
UWG Athletics encourages alumni, parents, student-athletes, and fans to assist with this campaign by making a gift and sharing their giving experiences with friends and family. Gifts of $100+ will activate fans' priority points for the year and will also make them eligible to join the 2025 Wolves Club and gifts of $500+ will receive a special Wolves Club Polo.
All gifts made in support of UWG Athletics are stewarded by the University of West Georgia Athletic Foundation and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. For more details on supporting UWG Athletics, please visit uwgathletics.com.
