CARROLLTON, Ga. - The UWG football team moved up three spots in the week three Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll following their 35-31 victory over ETSU, coming in at number 22.
The Wolves, who were ranked for the first time ever in the Division I era in last week's poll at number 25, had to score 15 unanswered, fourth quarter points in Saturday's come-from-behind victory over the Bucs. The gamewinner was a two-yard completion from
Davin Wydner to
Devion Newson with 15 seconds left.
The poll sets up a second straight matchup in which a ranked UWG squad hosts a team that received votes in the poll as EKU received votes following a road loss to FBS opponent Marshall.
Tickets are available for Saturday's clash with the Colonels. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. from University Stadium.
