CARROLLTON, Ga. - Following a victory over EKU on Saturday, the UWG Football team saw their national ranking rise in both the AFCA Coaches Poll and the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll.
In the AFCA Coaches Poll, UWG went from receiving votes to number 20, earning a ranking in that poll for the first time in program history.
UWG jumped from number 22 to number 18 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll.
The Wolves are one of four United Athletic Conference teams ranked in the Coaches Poll, joining Tarleton State (3rd), Abilene Christian (13th), and Austin Peay (25th). The same three teams join UWG in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll.
Week five sends the Wolves to take on Southern Utah on the road in Cedar City. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET from Eccles Coliseum.
