CARROLLTON, Ga. - Tommy Holden's game-winning kick in the Utah mountains will be remembered for years, and the senior kicker has been named the United Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
Holden booted through a 46-yarder and left one second on the clock as UWG came away with a 27-24 UAC road victory at Southern Utah.
The Lithia, Florida native is the second UWG specialist to claim the UAC's Special Teams Player of the Week honor as he joins fellow kicker Simon Zeidan who earned the honor following his performance in the week two win over Nicholls.
In total, Holden is the fourth player to win a UAC Weekly Award in 2025 as running backs TJ Lester and Latrelle Murrell have each won an honor this season.
Holden and the Wolves are back in action Saturday at Austin Peay in a 4 p.m. EST kickoff.
