West Georgia comes into the game still searching for their first UAC victory while the Wildcats have won three straight in league play and broke into the national rankings last week without playing a game. Abilene Christian, who is back to .500 after an 0-3 start, was on a bye week last Saturday and welcome the Wolves to their home turf for their homecoming.

Three of the Wildcats' four losses are to ranked FCS opponents and the fourth is to top-15 FBS opponent Texas Tech. Abilene Christian's three UAC wins are over the Wolves' final three opponents: West Florida, Central Arkansas, and North Alabama.

The Wolves most recently fell at home to the nation's top team, Tarleton State, and were without starting quarterback Colton FitzGerald in the second half, but hope to get the senior signal caller back for Saturday's contest.

Under FitzGerald, the offense is averaging nearly 340 yards passing. UWG was a little more balanced in the Tarleton State loss, rushing 32 times, the most in a game with the exception of the one non-DI game against Fort Valley State.

D.K. Daniel has emerged as the Wolves' top receiver as he has had at least five catches in each of the last four games and has had 307 receiving yards with three touchdowns in that same span. The Rome native leads the team in both receptions, yards, and touchdowns this season.

Defensively, UWG is led by Chidu Bekee who leads the UAC in tackles per game in conference play. The Plainfield, Illinois native averages 10.3 tackles per game in three conference matchups.

ACU's offense is averaging almost 30 points per game in three UAC games, and is led by dual-threat quarterback Tucker Parks. The Western Kentucky transfer, Parks took over in game three of the season, and since then has completed 72 percent of his passes for 1,013 yard and eight touchdowns while also adding 380 yards rushing with three touchdowns on the ground.

The Wildcats' defense has three players with at least 50 tackles, led by Dillon Williams with 72. Jaevon Wilcox is second on the team with 68 while Darius Moore has 51.

Saturday's game is the third matchup between UWG and ACU with the Wildcats winning both of the previous matchups. It also marks the ninth game against a top-25 opponent in the Wolves' Division I era with UWG coming in 1-7 against ranked opponents.

Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m. ET from Wildcat Stadium in Abilene, Texas. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ or fans can listen to the radio play-by-play on KISS 102.7.
