DOTHAN, Ala. - Facing the toughest conditions of the week at Dothan Country Club, the UWG women's golf team climbed one more spot to wrap up up their 2025-26 season with a seventh-place finish at the ASUN Championships.
The weather took a turn on the final day as temps dropped into the 50s and the wind picked up to as much as 25 mph gusts while a light rain fell for much of the first half of the day.
Still, the Wolves climbed one more spot, passing North Alabama to finish seventh.
Freshman Sophie Dhaliwal had the best individual finish for the Wolves, wrapping up her first season of collegiate golf with a 77 and a 20h place finish. Two shots behind her was Emma Baier who finished in 26th place after a final round 79.
Junior Hannah Barrett finished in 31st place, closing play with an 83.
It was a final round 79 for Erin Sullivan as the senior closed out her collegiate career with a 50th-place finish in Dothan.
The low round of the day came from Keira Wolf as the sophomore made three birdies on her way to a three-over round of 75.
North Florida won the ASUN Championships, finishing with 296 on Sunday.The Osprey's Brianna Castaldi posted a three-day total of nine-under to win individual medalist honors.
UWG closes out a phenomenal season that saw them ranked as high as 148 in the country.
