CARROLLTON, Ga. - Two UWG women's golf standouts were honored by the Atlantic Sun Conference in the league's annual Postseason Awards release on Wednesday. 

Junior Hannah Barrett was named Third Team All-ASUN as well as earning Academic All-ASUN honors while Sophie Dhaliwal was named to the ASUN All-Freshman team. 

Barrett played in all 12 tournaments as a junior, averaging a team-best 74.66 over 35 rounds. The Richmond Hill native had four top-10 finishes in 2025-26 including a season-best third place finish at the Magnolia Collegiate. At that event, Barrett shot 73, 75, and 74 and helped the Wolves to a second-place finish as a team.  

Dahliwal began her collegiate career averaging 75.86 over 35 rounds, also playing in every event for UWG. The native of Calgary, Canada most recently led the Wolves at the ASUN Championships, finishing 20th. Dhaliwal had three top-20 finishes on the season and her best finish was 15th at the Georgia State Invitational. 

As for Barrett's academic award, All-ASUN Academic selections must have played in 50 percent of the team's events, have completed four semesters of college coursework, have one-year of residence at the institution, and have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA. Barrett holds a 3.61 GPA and is set to graduate next month with a degree in biology. 

Barrett becomes the first women's golfer to earn All-Conference honors in the Division I era while Dhaliwal becomes the first freshman to be named to the All-Freshman team. 

The duo was instrumental in the Wolves' season that saw them rank as high as number 148 on the season and finish in the top three in four of 12 events and in the top five in eight of the 12.
