PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - The UWG men's golf team opened play at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge with a 307 on Monday, sitting in 16th place. 

Thomas Romani led the Wolves on Monday, opening with a two-over round of 74 at True blue Golf Club on Pawley's Island. Romani is tied for 33rd individually. 

Both Milton Wallin and Max Winnersjo shot 77 on Monday, with Winnersjo carding the most birdies on the team with three in his opening round. The duo is in a 64th place tie. 

It was a 79 for Luke Able on Monday while Luke Sienkiewicz shot an 80. Able is in 77th place while Sienkiewicz sits in 84th. 

UAB leads the tournament after shooting an opening round 284. 

UWG starts their second round tomorrow beginning at 9:05 a.m.
