CARROLLTON, Ga. - The UWG women's basketball team has received their inaugural United Athletic Conference schedule as the league office unveiled the 16-game slate.
Head coach Joanna Reitz and the Wolves, who will play each of the eight UAC foes twice, open league play on January 6 in Conway, Arkansas taking on Central Arkansas before a January 9 contest against Little Rock.
The UAC home opener for the Wolves is set for January 13 as they host Tarleton State. UWG then takes on the Austin Peay Governors on the road before their first full home weekend, hosting EKU on January 20 and Central Arkansas on January 23.
January closes with the Wolves making a trip to the Lonestar State for a January 27 showdown with UT Arlington.
To open February, the Wolves host Abilene Christian on February 3 and Little Rock on February 6.
UWG then plays three straight road games traveling to North Alabama, Abilene Christian, and Tarleton State.
Closing out the season with three of four at The Coliseum, the Wolves return home to take on UT Arlington on February 24 and then go to EKU on February 27. The final week of the regular season brings Austin Peay to The Coliseum on March 3 and North Alabama comes to town for the final game of the regular season on March 6.
The UAC Championships are set for March 10-14 and will feature the top eight seeds.
