CARROLLTON, Ga.- The University of West Georgia men's cross country team is set to open its 2026 campaign on Friday at the Foothills Invitational at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama, at 10 a.m. The meet marks the Wolves' first race of the season and their only 5K of the year.

The Wolves return a strong group of experienced runners, led by junior Noah Anderson, who is expected to lead the pack for UWG. Anderson owns a personal-best time of 15:41.9, which ranks third all-time in West Georgia history in the 5K.
