Wolves take on Shorter in home finale

Carrollton, GA- The Wolves are competing in their last home match of the season this week, facing in-state rival Shorter University tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at the Coliseum.

Shorter moved up to 2nd in the conference standings this week with a 13-3 GSC record, clinching a spot in the conference tournament after defeating West Florida. Senior outside hitter Elizabeth Dowd leads the team both offensively and defensively. She has produced 262 kills this season with an outstanding 3.08 average kills per set. The six-rotation stud has also tallied 333 digs on the year with an average of 3.87 digs per set. Junior middle blocker Tiffani Estep is a strong blocker for the Hawks, amassing 91 total blocks and ranking 2nd in the conference in this category. The Hawks run a 6-2 offense with freshman Alli Bell and senior Cheyenne Frady. Head Coach Jon Moseley returns for this 11th season in 2016 at Shorter.
