Adam Milewski Named UWG Volleyball Head Coach

CARROLLTON, Ga. - The University of West Georgia Department of Athletics announced today that Adam Milewski will take over as the 11th UWG head volleyball coach in program history.

"The addition of Adam Milewski to the Wolf family represents an affirmation that the University of West Georgia is committed to pursuing excellence on all fronts," said Director of Athletics Jason Carmichael. "UWG Volleyball is an extremely important program for our community. During the course of our search, we were guided by the need to find a leader who could take this team to the next level of competitive excellence. Coach Milewski has proven he can build the foundation for success in high-end volleyball contexts. We couldn't be more excited to get him on board and have him help us build this program into a high-performance machine."

Serving as the head coach at Lynn University for over the past decade, Milewski brings with him a proven winning track record that is highlighted by a 2024 Division II National Championship and two Sunshine State Conference Championships.

"I am incredibly grateful to UWG President Mike Johnson, Jason Carmichael and Deputy Athletics Director Karen Allen for their trust and leadership throughout this process. From the very beginning, they shared a clear vision for the future of the University of West Georgia that emphasizes competitive success, academic excellence and meaningful impact within the UWG community and beyond," stated Milewski. "I am excited to get into the gym, build relationships and work with our student-athletes and staff to achieve great things together."
