Carrollton, GA- The Wolves fell in a 3-0 sweep at Christian Brothers in their last match of the season. Set scores were 25-19, 25-19, and 25-16.
The Buccaneers' offense won the game, producing a team hitting percentage of .294 compared to the Wolves' .170 percentage. They also nearly doubled the Wolves' number of kills, tallying 44 in total. Freshman outside hitter Emma Lenoir led the Bucs with nine kills. Senior Mary Kathryn Miller also added eight kills, a .412 hitting percentage, and three blocks. Sophomore libero Blythe Clausen led the defense with 11 digs.
Senior Jaida Allen led the Wolves in the last match of her career, tallying five kills, a .375 hitting percentage, and three blocks. Freshman Faith Pearson also contributed seven kills and five digs on the match. Freshman Madi Fleming produced 12 assists and led the defense with eight digs.
The loss concludes the 2016 season for the Wolves, finishing 11th in the conference with a 1-19 GSC record.
