UWG heads to Tennessee to conclude 2016 season

Carrollton, GA- The Wolves are headed to Tennessee this weekend to play in two matches to conclude the 2016 season. They will face Union on Friday night at 8 p.m. and Christian Brothers on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Union ranks 9th in the GSC with a 6-12 conference record. Senior Deja Moorer and freshman Katie O'Malley lead the offense with 204 and 213 kills respectively. The Bulldogs run a 5-1 offense with senior setter Hannah Huguley, who currently ranks 6th in the conference for assists. Darrin McClure leads Union in His second year as head coach.

Christian Brothers ranks 4th in the GSC with a 10-8 conference record. Junior middle blocker Mary Kathryn Miller and freshman outside hitter Emma Lenoir lead the offense with 238 and 361 kills respectively. Miller ranks second in the conference for blocks and hitting percentage. Lenoir is also a GSC leader, ranking fourth in kills. The Bucs also run a 5-1 offense with senior setter Jessica Reber, who ranks 4th in the GSC for assists with 9.14 average assists per set. Reber also leads the conference in service aces with an average of .45 per set. Head Coach In-Sik Hwang leads the Bucs in his 14th season at CBU.
