Box Score TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Playing under the bright arena lights of the Donald L. Tucker Center, the West Georgia Wolves women's basketball team gained valuable experience in a 115-46-exhibition loss at the hands of Florida State on Sunday afternoon.
West Georgia was outmatched down low by the Seminoles of the Atlantic Coast Conference as FSU scored 64 of their 115 points in the paint and hit 10 three-pointers at a 55 percent clip.
The FSU defense held UWG to 28 percent shooting from the field, but the Wolves poured in seven three pointers in the game including two each from Stephanie Torres and freshman guard Katelyn Dunning. 
UWG was led in scoring by Dunning and fellow guard Aniedi Nsentip with eight points each while Torres finished with six and Becca Ledford added five. On the glass, Peace Okeke had a team-high eight rebounds while Sophia Singer finished with seven.
First year head coach Joanna Reitz got to see her squad in action for the first time in an exhibition against a big-time Power Five opponent, and returned to a place where she had previously coached.
The Wolves now shift their focus to the start of the regular season which is 12 days away. West Georgia opens the season on the road taking on Rollins on a neutral floor on November 11 and then a true road game at Tampa on November 12.
