CARROLLTON, Ga. - Head women's basketball coach Joanna Reitz announced today the addition of Kaitlyn Judge to her 2025-26 coaching staff. Judge will serve as assistant coach as well as general manager of the UWG program.
"I'm thrilled to add Kaitlyn to our University of West Georgia basketball family. In addition to her passions for people and basketball, she brings a unique skill set to our staff," said Reitz.
As the Wolves' first ever general manager, Judge will be responsible for roster building and management as well as utilizing NIL resources and managing the day-to-day operations of the program on and off the court.
It's a return to the coaching ranks for Judge as she wraps up a five-year stint in the corporate world, including the last three at Ernst & Young in Boston, Massachusetts.
Judge was a college player at UT-Dallas from 2018-2021, being named team captain as well as earning Academic All-Conference honors by her career's end.
"Her wide-ranging experience as a college player at UT-Dallas, to her work with the women's basketball team at Vanderbilt, as well as in the business world at Ernst & Young position her to be an asset to our program in the new landscape of college athletics," added Reitz.
Originally from Hudson, Ohio, Judge holds a Master's of Science in Finance from Vanderbilt University, where she also spent time on the Commodores' coaching staff. Judge holds a Bachelor's in Finance from UT-Dallas, graduating summa cum laude in 2021.
