CARROLLTON, Ga. – The UWG Tennis team is hitting the road this week for three-straight road games before returning home on Monday, April 8. The Wolves have a pair of non-conference matchups bookended around a two-match trip in Gulf South Conference Play.

SCOUTING TUSKEGEE
The Golden Tigers (18-5) come into Thursday's matchup on a six-game win streak, taking games over LeMoyne-Owen, Fort Valley State, Clark Atlanta, Edward Waters, Savannah State, and Benedict.
Tuskegee has three players with double-digit singles wins, led by Taylor Ford who is 11-4 on the season. Chloe Griffin-Harrington and Jamiya Ivory each have 10 wins on the season.
SCOUTING MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE
On Friday, UWG faces a tough test in 29
th-ranked Mississippi College (8-6, 2-2 GSC). The Choctaws most recently fell in a matchup of ranked teams against Auburn Montgomery, and will take on Delta State at home before the matchup with the Wolves.
Emma Roberts has been impressive for MC, going 8-4 in line two singles while also putting together a 7-3 record in doubles play. Ana Julissa De Mata Rodriguez has also been an impressive player, going 10-0, playing primarily fifth singles as eight of her 10 wins came in that slot.
SCOUTING WEST ALABAMA
The Wolves' toughest test maybe of the season comes on Saturday as they take on the nation's seventh-ranked team on the road in West Alabama (9-7, 5-0 GSC). The Tigers Have a busy week this week as well, taking on fourth-ranked North Georgia on Tuesday before hosting Christian Brothers on Thursday and UWG on Friday.
West Alabama's top player is Khim Iglupas, who is 9-1 in number one singles and ranks sixth in the country in the ITA individual rankings. Shaira Rivera has put together a 9-1 record in singles play, including an 8-0 mark in second singles.
SCOUTING ALBANY STATE
When the Wolves return home on April 8, they will host Albany State (19-3) who is currently on a 10-game winning streak as they host Georgia Southwestern ahead of Monday's contest in Carrollton.
