CARROLLTON, Ga. – The inaugural season at the Division I level for the University of West Georgia Men's Basketball program is growing closer by the day as the program released their 2024-25 schedule on Wednesday.

West Georgia will open their season with four straight road games against high quality opponents, beginning with Mississippi State on November 4. Two days later, UWG will be back in the state of Georgia for a matchup against Georgia Tech before heading back out of state for contests against Tennessee Tech and South Florida.
On November 18, the Wolves will open up their home schedule against Troy before ending the week with a road test against Georgia Southern on November 23. Three days later, West Georgia will head to Homewood, Alabama for a three-game Thanksgiving Invitational which will be hosted by Samford University. UWG will begin the invitational with a back-to-back against Utah Valley and North Dakota State on November 26 and 27, before concluding with a matchup against Samford on November 29.
After playing nine games in November, the Wolves will begin their December schedule on Wednesday, December 4 with a road contest against Mercer. On Wednesday, December 7, West Georgia will resume their home schedule, by hosting Tennessee Tech before taking 10 days off and heading back on the road for a game against Charlotte on December 17. Before the Holiday break, UWG is set to close out their non-conference schedule, by hosting Brewton Parker on Saturday, December 21.
After the break, West Georgia will open up their ASUN schedule with home games against Florida Gulf Coast on January 2 and Stetson on January 4, before four consecutive road contests against Austin Peay, Lipscomb, Florida Gulf Coast, and Stetson.
On January 23, UWG will return to The Coliseum for a home contest against Jacksonville before hosting North Florida two days later. On January 29, West Georgia will end the month with a road test against Central Arkansas.
The Wolves will begin the month of February with a road game against Queens, before turning around and hosting Lipscomb and North Alabama at The Coliseum on February 5 and 8. With six games remaining, UWG will play the defending ASUN Regular Season Champions in Eastern Kentucky, Bellarmine, and North Alabama before ending the regular season with three home games against Central Arkansas, Queens, and Austin Peay.
The ASUN Championships is set to begin on March 2 with a champion to be crowned on March 9.
