ACWORTH, Ga. - The UWG men's golf team wrapped up play at The Scrappy on Tuesday, placing 10th in the event hosted by Kennesaw State at Cobblestone Golf Club.
The Wolves shot a final round 306 and were led by a 73 from Max Winnersjo on the day. Winnersjo was two shots behind the tournament leader for the Wolves, Luke Sienkiewicz who closed out with a 78 on Tuesday. Sienkiewicz finished 15th while Winnersjo came in 27th place.
Thomas Romani also shot a 78 in the final round to finish one shot behind Winnersjo in 35th place. Will Sutton's final round 77 put him in a 55th-place finish.
Sophomore Luke Able shot a final round 86 on Tuesday to round out the lineup.
Tyler Nesci played an an individual and finished in 51st place after a final round 83.
West Georgia's next action is set for October 27-28 at the FAU Golf Invitational at Panther National Golf Club.
