PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - A second round 298 moved the UWG men's golf team up one spot on the leader board, finishing the FAU Golf Invitational at Panther National in 15th place. Sophomore Max Winnersjo finished under par inn each round to notch a 14th-place finish individually. 

The event was shortened to 36 holes following the suspension of round two due to darkness on Monday.  

Winnersjo made four birdies in his second round to card a second-straight round of 71 to finish inside the top 15. 

Thomas Romani finished in 56th place with a final round 73. The sophomore got off to a shaky start with three bogeys in his first six holes, but over the final 12, Romani made 10 pars and a pair of birdies, including one on the last. 

It was a 75 for Luke Sienkiewicz in the second round. The scorecard featured three birdies and the Germantown, Tennessee native finished in 71st place. 

Both Jeremy Edmunds and Milton Wallin shot the same score over 36 holes with Wallin posting a 79 on Tuesday while Edmunds finished the event with an 83. The duo tied for 83rd individually. 

UWG finished ahead of Navy on the team standings while Tarleton State won the event by eight strokes. 

The Wolves conclude their fall schedule and now set their sights on the start of the spring season on February 21-22 at the Savannah Intercollegiate.
