FORSYTH, Ga. - The UWG women's golf team wrapped up their 2025 fall season with a third-place finish at the Mercer Invitational on Monday.
It was a 305 in the final round, putting UWG in third out of eight teams behind tournament host and champion Mercer and Florida Atlantic who finished second. The Wolves posted three individual top-15 finishes, led by the 11th-place tie featuring Emma Baier and Hannah Barrett.
Barrett ended with a second-straight 72 that featured four birdies to close the fall while Baier struggled on the final day with an 82. Sofia Mondragon also was in the top-15, tying for 14th with a 76. The sophomore made three birdies on Monday and was consistent this week, firing 76 in all three rounds.
Sophie Dhaliwal finished with a 79 and was in 19th place while Erin Sullivan posted a final round 78 to finish in 21st place individually.
UWG also got a 20th-place finish from Keira Wolf and a 25th-place finish from Anna Olesen who were both competing as individuals.
The eight-team field featured three of the top-15 teams in NJCAA, and UWG finished ahead of all of those as well as Division I foes Samford and Jacksonville, who is an ASUN opponent.
It was an extremely successful fall for head coach Will Snodgrass and the Wolves who set 18 and 54-hole school records and had three third-place finishes and finished no worse than eighth.
UWG opens the spring portion of the schedule on February 23 at the Babs Steffens Invitational in DeBary, Florida.
