UWG Cross Country Teams Announce 2025 Schedule

CARROLLTON, Ga. - The University of West Georgia men's and women's cross country teams released their 2025 schedule today, signaling that the programs are one step closer to embarking on their second Division I campaign.

Kicking off the fun on August 29, the Wolves head to Chocolocco Park in Anniston, Alabama to compete in the Foothills Invitational. At last year's meet, both teams put together their strongest showings of the season with the men placing sixth out of 19 teams and the women finishing seventh out of 20. That event also marked the first time that either team competed as a DI program.

Following the Foothills Invitational, the Pack heads back to Alabama to race in the Southern Showcase in Huntsville on September 12.

Taking a two week break, UWG will compete in Alabama for the final time of the 2025 season, taking on Twilight at PR'ville in Huntsville on September 26. Interestingly, this race is set to be held at the same place as the Foothills Invitational, John Hunt Park.

Heading to the Carolinas for the first and only time of the 2025 campaign, West Georgia travels to Millikin Research Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina to take on the Upstate Invitational on October 18.

The Wolves wrap up the season in Jacksonville at the ASUN Championships on October 31.
