Wolves Wrap up Southern Showcase in 31st Place

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The UWG men's cross country team recorded a 31st place finish out of 48 teams in the Southern Showcase hosted by Jacksonville State this past Friday (Sept. 12).

Leading the Pack with a 96th place finish on a time of 25:06.7 was Griffin Stephens, marking the second consecutive week he posted a UWG-best.

Following Stephens, Noah Anderson crossed at 25:42.3, Alex Njoroge recorded a 26:18.6, Felipe Barrios crossed at 26:30.8, Aiden Thaxton finished next with a 26:41.5, Abenezer Woellore recorded a 27:12.0, Solomon Johnson finished 27:13.6, Bruno Valdez recorded a 27:14.9, Jesse Baldwin finished with 27:16.2, Parker Ferguson recorded a 27:20.8, Gabriel Wrye crossed at 27:56.1 and Tyler Jones rounded out the Pack with a 28:03.9.

The team takes a two week break before returning to John Hunt Park to compete in the Twilight at PR'ville (Sept. 26).
