10/12/2026 8:20:00 PM

JONESBORO, Ark. - The UWG women's golf team is in seventh place following rounds of 298 and 295 on Monday at Sage Meadows Country Club for day one of the Lady Red Wolves Classic.

UWG has two golfers inside the top-20 with 18 holes remaining as Sofia Mondragon is in 12th and Sophie Dhaliwal is in 17th.

Mondragon was pretty consistent in round one, finishing with an even par 72, but then had an up and down second round, but still managed to get in the clubhouse at even par. For the day, she rolled in nine birdies.

Dhaliwal did it a little bit differently, but is one shot behind Mondragon. The sophomore made one birdie on her way to a first round 75 before making three birdies in a two-under round of 70 in the second.

Senior Emma Baier was under par in the opening round with a 71, but finished with a 78 in round two and is tied for 39th.

Anna Olesen shot an opening round 81 and then bounced back with a 75 in round two. Freshman Myla Rookard shot 80 in both rounds on Monday. Olesen is in 69th place while Rookard is in 77th.

The Wolves are currently nine shots out of the top-five. UAC foe Austin Peay leads the tournament with one final round set for tomorrow.
