Wolves Shoot 293, Climb One Spot to 11th

VALDOSTA, Ga. - The UWG men's golf team improved their second round score and their place on the leaderboard after a 293 on Wednesday at the ASUN Championships at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. 

UWG jumped Bellarmine in the team leaderboard and sits in 11th place and seven shots outside of the top-10. 

Milton Wallin led the charge for the Wolves with an even-par 72. The sophomore overcame a double bogey on his second hole and rolled in five birdies to post the low round of the day for the Wolves and sits in 26th place. 

He was one shot better than Thomas Romani and Jeremy Edmunds as they each shot 73. Romani made three birdies and is the Wolf nearest the top of the leaderboard in 22nd individually. Edmunds, who subbed in for the second round, made four birdies including three in a row on his front nine. 

Max Winnersjo made four birdies and finished with a three-over 75 and begins tomorrow's final round in 48th place. He is one stroke ahead of Tyler Nesci who shot 76 with one birdie on Wednesday. 

FGCU has a two shot lead on Stetson with 18 holes to play from Kinderlou Forest on Thursday.
