Danhof, Duncanson, & Walker Shatter UWG Records at Outdoor Championships

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- The UWG women's track & field team continued its record-breaking performance on Friday at the 2026 ASUN Outdoor Championships, tallying 20 team points through two days of competition behind two top-three finishes and three school records. The Wolves currently sit seventh overall heading into Saturday's final day in Jacksonville.

Sprints & Hurdles
Elise Duncanson continued her impressive freshman campaign in the 400m preliminaries, securing a second-place finish with a personal-best and school-record time of 54.05 to qualify for Saturday's final. Ty Daniel followed closely behind at 54.75 to finish third and also advance to the finals.

Kellie Walker added another record-breaking performance for the Wolves in the 100m preliminaries, sprinting to a school-record time of 11.72 to qualify for the finals. Lia Long followed with a time of 12.38 while Genesis Price finished at 12.89.

In the 100m hurdles, Kierra McKenna paced UWG with a personal-best time of 14.88, finishing just two spots shy of qualifying for the finals. Empress Malone followed at 15.82 while Valeyna Renteria-Silva rounded out the group at 19.41.

Jumps, Vaults, & Throws
The field events opened with the shot put where Day Atkins led the Wolves with a throw of 13.70m, narrowly missing a new personal best. Leilah Mathieu followed with a mark of 9.49m.

In the high jump, Bella Jones finished just outside of the podium with a fourth-place finish after clearing a personal-best height of 1.65m. Nneka Okafor followed with a jump of 1.45m while Amaya Hammel did not clear the opening height.

Distance
The Wolves closed the day in the 800m where Reatta Danhof shattered the UWG school record with a personal-best time of 2:14.75. Linda Rivero also competed in the event and crossed the line at 2:21.94.
