CARROLLTON, Ga. - A new season of UWG men's golf tees off on Monday as the Wolves compete in the Augusta Jaguar Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta. 

Head coach Shannon Lipham has a young, new look team heading into the season opener with four new Wolves debuting alongside one newcomer. Of the four newcomers in Lipham's starting lineup in Augusta, three are true freshman making their collegiate golf debuts. 

At the top of the lineup is freshman Reid Rockett, and he's followed by the lone returner in the lineup, Thomas Romani. Another freshman, JP Groat, is in the three spot and is followed by transfer Hayden Canary. Rounding out the lineup is freshman Dallas Inch. 

Lipham will take his entire roster as Charlie Fischer, Gus Darnall, and Luke Able will compete as individuals. 

UWG is one of 10 teams in the field this week at Forest Hills Golf Club. Tournament host Augusta and Georgia State join the Wolves as the three in-state teams playing in the tournament.  

The Wolves will play a practice round at Forest Hills Golf Club, a Donald Ross design founded in 1926, on Sunday before opening tournament play on Monday. Day one features the first two of three rounds with the third round taking place on Tuesday.
