Carrollton, GA – The UWG baseball squad hosted the final game of the weekend series with the Alabama-Huntsville Chargers on Sunday at Cole Field. The Chargers' bats stayed hot in the finale, as UAH took an 11-3 win and the series sweep.
Offensively the Wolves' bats were relatively silent until the last and final inning of the day when they strung together five hits, knocking in three.

Cody Skinner#, in Sunday's series finale. Skinner (5-2) pitched 5.1 innings, scattering five hits and striking out three. He had one of his toughest outings of the season, allowing seven earned runs and walking six batters on the day.
The Chargers took full advantage of their five hits off Skinner, with two of them being home runs totaling in seven RBIs
The Wolves waited until the bottom of the ninth to put their first runs on the board. Offensively, #
Galen Smith# led the Wolves today with three hits in four at-bats. Smith drove in two of the three UWG runs on the afternoon on a single to right-center in the ninth inning. #
Evan Hester# contributed with two hits and a RBI also.

With this loss, the Wolves fall to 17-16 overall and 8-7 in Gulf South Conference play. West Georgia will pick back up next week with a mid-week home game against Montevallo at 6:00 PM.
