Carrollton, GA – The Carson-Newman Eagles visited the UWG Wolves Tuesday for Senior Night in Carrollton. The Eagles only had two scoring innings on the night, but it would prove to be enough as they took the game 6-1 from the Wolves.
Senior, #
Jarrod Parker#, got the start for the Wolves tonight. Parker walked the first two batters then gave up a three-run home run to the Carson-Newman catcher. Parker settled down after that and finished the next two innings, but that would be it for him on the night.

Cody Skinner# would get two innings of middle relief after replacing Parker. Skinner gave up one hit and walked two in his appearance. #

Randall Wright# would also make appearances in this game as well. They combined for five innings pitched, giving up just one hit and three earned runs.
The Wolves scored their only run of the night off of a #
Garrett May# sacrifice fly to center field that drove in #Tanner Drennan# in the bottom of the seventh.
Among the seniors honored tonight, #
Stuart Drew# performed the best. Drew was 2-for-5 with a stolen base and solid defense.

Brett Wright# had an excellent all-around game tonight. Wright was 3-for-4 at the plate and also made a great diving play in shallow right field to take away a hit. Other Wolves with hits were #Garret May#, #

Justin Croft#. Drennan had two hits on the day also and scored the only run of the game for the Wolves. West Georgia would end up getting twelve hits on the day.
The Wolves play their last non-conference game against North Georgia tomorrow, April 25 at 6 pm and then will travel to Delta State this weekend for the last conference series of the season.
