Carrollton, GA - The UWG Wolves enter a crucial part of the schedule with most of their remaining games against tough Gulf South Conference opponents. This week the Wolves have a quick break from the GSC as West Georgia faces off against the Georgia Southwestern Canes Wednesday, March 27 at 5:00 p.m. in Americus, GA.
Georgia Southwestern at a Glance
The Canes have not played their best baseball so far this season with a 10-20 overall record and a 2-10 conference record. However, they have played a little better at home with a 7-9 record. Stephen Eldridge is the Canes leading power hitter as he leads the team in home runs with three and RBIs with 17.

Georgia Southwestern Pitchers to Watch
The Canes pitching has been a little disappointing this year with a 5.37 earned run average. The Wolves should expect to see weekday pitcher freshman Earl Dupree. Dupree is 0-5 on the year with a 9.49 ERA in 30 innings pitched. Another pitcher the Wolves may see in tomorrow's game is Ryan Mosley. Mosley has a 5.29 ERA and strikes out an average of six batters a game with two saves.
UWG Pitchers to Watch
The Canes could see a handful of pitchers in the game tomorrow. A probably pitcher Coach Fite may throw is #
Jonathon Black#. Black has a 3-1 record with a 5.72 ERA so far this season through 28 innings of work. Opponents are hitting .309 against him, but he has 19 strikeouts on the year. #
