Carrollton, GA – The UWG baseball team faced off against the Argos of West Florida today at Cole Field to decide the series winner. West Florida jumped out in the first inning and never relinquished their lead as they won the rubber match 9-4.

West Georgia would go scoreless for the rest of the game while the Argos put up four more runs making the final score 9-4.
Wright pitched four innings giving up six hits and five earned runs while striking out three. #
Clint Beland# relieved Wright in the fifth inning. Beland pitched two and one-third innings giving up three hits and four runs. #
Alex Allen# finished out the game for West Georgia pitching the remaining two and two-third innings giving up only two hits and zero runs.
