Carrollton, GA - Coming off a big 4-0 win on Friday the night, the Wolves now shift gears to conference play as UWG hosts Gulf South Conference newcomer Spring Hill on Sunday afternoon at 12:00 p.m. in UWG's home opener at University Field.
The Wolves are currently 2-2 on the year and looking to get off to a great start in GSC play when the Badgers visit Carrollton on Sunday. This is just the second overall meeting between the two teams and the first ever in Carrollton. Last season, the two squads played to a 1-1 draw in Mobile, Ala.
UWG is currently led by junior forward
Susana Abundiz, who has two goals on just seven shots and an assist this season. Abundiz scored a game winning goal in the Wolves' season opener, and added her second goal against Southern Wesleyan on Friday night.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Katie Miklausich has secured two shutouts thus far this season. UWG has not had two shutouts in a single season since 2012.
The Badgers are 0-1-2 on the year, and have only scored one goal this season after consecutive 0-0 draws in their past two games, including Friday night's game against Montevallo.
