Carrollton, GA - It was an offensive battle on Wednesday evening as the West Georgia Wolves defeated the North Georgia Nighthawks by a score of 12-10. The team combined for 23 hits in the game. The Wolves improved to 15-6 on the year.
How it Happened
It was a rough start for the Wolves as the Nighthawks scored five runs in the top of the first inning. North Georgia added to the lead in the sixth with a single run. The Wolves opened their scoring in the bottom of the second as
Dalton Rogers hit a two-run homerun to make the score 6-2.
The Wolves tied the game up in the bottom of the fourth inning. Artemis Kadhodaian hit a two-run homerun to make it a 6-4 game. After a

Drew Eady,
Cade Marlowe hit a two-run homerun for his first career homerun, tying the game at 6-6.
North Georgia took the lead back in the top of the fifth, scoring two runs in the inning. The Wolves responded in the bottom of the inning with four runs.
Ben Utley singled, followed by a double from
Caleb Lopes.
Garrett Hayes then singled, scoring Utley. A wild pitch then scored Lopes. A
Dalton Rogers single scored Hayes.
Cade Marlowe then doubled to score Rogers, making it an 8-6 lead for West Georgia.
UNG added a run in the top of the sixth, but
Artemis Kadkhodaian hit his second two-run homerun of the game in the bottom of the inning to make it a 12-9 ballgame. North Georgia scored a single run in the eighth to end the scoring at 12-10 West Georgia.
Cade Marlowe was 3-4 in the game with three RBIs and a run scored.
Artemis Kadkhodaian had two homeruns and four RBIs.
Dalton Rogers was 2-3 with a homerun, three RBIs, and three runs scored.
