Carrollton, GA - West Georgia lost a heartbreaker on Tuesday evening as they fell 7-6 on a walkoff hit in the ninth inning. This causes a series split between UWG and UNG this season as each won one game this season. The Wolves are now 16-9 on the season.
How it Happened
The scoring in the game started in the bottom of the second as UNG loaded the bases with no one out. After two strikeouts, two wild pitches allowed the Nighthawks to take an early 2-0 lead. The Wolves got one run back in the top of the third as
Tyler Hutch hit his sixth homerun of the year to cut the lead to one.
The Nighthawks then got the run back as a throwing error allowed UNG to score a run in the bottom of the third inning. The Wolves responded once again as they started the inning with

Artemis Kadkhodaian and another from
Cade Marlowe allowed
Dalton Rogers to advance and score making it a 3-2 UNG lead.

Garrett Hayes started the inning with a solo homerun, tying the game at 3-3.
Caleb Lopes then singled and stole second before
