Carrollton, GA - The West Georgia Wolves baseball team has continued to impress over the last two weeks as they have won ten straight games, including seven straight Gulf South Conference games. The Wolves (27-10, 15-9 GSC) now prepare for a midweek matchup against the Miles Golden Bears on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala.
Wolves Last Matchup
The Wolves are coming off of an impressive 14-10 win over the Georgia College Bobcats on Tuesday evening at Cole Field. The Wolves used a six-run second inning and an eight-run seventh inning to take down the Bobcats.
UWG had a season-high nineteen hits in the contest, including seven hits for extra-bases.
Artemis Kadkhodaian was 2-5 with two runs and an RBI.
Cade Marlowe had two hits, two runs, and two RBI.
Caleb Lopes added two hits and three RBI and
Tyler Hutch had three hits, two doubles, and two RBI.
Garrett Hayes stayed hot with three hits, including a homerun, and three RBI.
Keith Buckhault added three hits and an RBI.
West Georgia, as a team, hit .463 on the evening. Tritt Fennel was excellent as a relief pitcher, throwing 2.2 innings of scoreless baseball.
Turner Edwards and
Mitchell Mannino each pitched a scoreless inning in the contest.

Over their ten game winning streak the West Georgia Wolves are hitting a .347 as a team.
Dalton Rogers has been outstanding, hitting .462 over his last ten games while driving in 14 runs.
Garrett Hayes has also been great at the plate. He has twenty RBI over his last five games, including 17 last week as he was named GSC Player of the Week. Of his last 13 hits, seven have been for extra-base hits, including two homeruns. Rogers leads the team with 41 RBI, while Hayes is second with 40.
Caleb Lopes leads the team with a .406 BA, .624 Slugging Percentage, and .497 On-base Percentage.
