CARROLLTON, Ga. – The University of West Georgia baseball team has announced a scheduling change to its Gulf South Conference series against West Alabama this weekend.
The opening game that was originally set for Friday has been moved to Sunday with a 1 p.m. first pitch at Cole Field, while Saturday's doubleheader remains the same with a 1 p.m. start.
West Georgia (7-9, 7-8 GSC) is returning to the diamond for the first time since its March 10 matchup at Columbus State. The series against the Tigers (8-8, 6-7) opens a seven-game homestand for the Wolves.
