CARROLLTON, Ga. - The UWG men's and women's track and field teams are set to kick off its spring campaign at the Samford Multis and Invitational in Birmingham, held at the Birmingham Crossplex this Thursday and Friday.

The UWG teams most recently competed at the Commonwealth Opener hosted by the University of Louisville, marking West Georgia's inaugural event as a Division I program.
 
Taking place over January 16 and 17, West Georgia is sending five male and two female athletes to compete in the Multis.

On the men's side, the team will be represented by Rhett Howard, Corey Rooks, Richard Griffin, Conner Changizi and Hans Urizar. Alexis Doll and Olivia Fulford will compete on the women's side.

For the Invitational, UWG is bringing a whole host of Wolves to compete in a variety of events.
