CARROLLTON, Ga. - Voted on by the head coaches from across the conference, Wolves' forward Shelton Williams-Dryden was honored
today (Oct. 17) with a spot on the Preseason Atlantic Sun Men's Basketball Team, marking a first for the program.
The Milwaukee native is coming off an impressive 2024-25 campaign, in whichÂ
his 17.6 points per game average led UWG and ranked third in ASUN, while his 55.2 percent field goal percentage placed him fourth in the conference. Williams-Dryden also finished sixth in the ASUN with a 7.5 rebounds per game average. Making a name for himself for his offensive prowess, the forward recorded 27 double-digit scoring performances, which featured 20 or more points 14 times and six double-doubles.Â
"We are excited that Shelton is being recognized as one of the top players in the ASUN. He is certainly deserving of that recognition," said head coach
Dave Moore. "Preseason accolades are fun. Shelton has worked extremely hard since the summer to make sure he is on that list at the end of the season! We can't wait to get started on November 3rd!"
Williams-Dryden and the Wolves tip off the 2025-26 campaign on November 3 at Nebraska. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. Single-game tickets will go on sale soon.Â
