Men's Golf Opens Play at Panther National, Second Round Suspended

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Darkness halted play of the second round of the FAU Golf Invitational, and the UWG men's golf team is in 16th place after shooting a 301 in round one. The Wolves were +11 in round two when play was halted. 

The Wolves were led by Max Winnersjo in round one as the sophomore shot a one-under 71 that featured four birdies. 

Both Jeremy Edmunds and Thomas Romani shot rounds of 76 in round one. Luke Sienkiewicz shot a 78 and did a good job of damage control after opening his round with five straight bogeys, but played the remaining holes at one-over. 

Milton Wallin shot an 80 in his opening round. 

The event has been shortened to 36 holes. UWG and the other teams in the field will complete their second round at Panther National in the morning.
