CARROLLTON, Ga. - Former women's basketball player Zuriyah Davis has become the latest UWG player to ink a professional contract with RAS Club in Serbia.
Davis, who played two seasons at UWG while scoring 822 points at a 14.2 points per game clip, is the second UWG player in the Division I era (since 2024) to sign a professional contract.
"Congrats to Zee on signing her first of many pro contracts to play overseas," said head coach Joanna Reitz. "This has been a dream of Zee's for a long time, she is prepared for this opportunity through the habits she's built, and I have no doubt she will make the most of it! We wish her the very best and will be cheering her on!"
The Sugar Hill, Georgia native was an ASUN All-Academic selection in her final season, and wrapped up her career as part of 29 victories and scored 20-plus points in 13 career games.
RAS Club is located in Belgrade, Serbia and is nine games into their new season.
Davis joins Jada Powell as the two players who played in the Division I era at West Georgia and later took their talent overseas for a professional career. In total, Reitz has coached over 20 players in her career that have went on to play professional women's basketball.
