Wallin Inside Top-10 After Two Rounds at ASUN Championships

VALDOSTA, Ga. - Two Wolves were at or under par on day two of the ASUN Men's Golf Championships on Wednesday at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club as the Wolves shot a 295 and are in 12th place after 36 holes.

Milton Wallin led the way for a second straight round and Thomas Romani ended with an even-par 72 in round two.

Wallin is now four-under for the tournament and tied for 10th after back-to-back rounds of 70. On Wednesday, Wallin began with a bogey before he eagled the par-five 14th, his fifth hole, and followed that up with birdie at the 15th. After turning at two-under, Wallin made one bogey and one birdie on his second nine.

For Romani, he finished even-par despite four bogeys and a double on a par five by rolling in six birdie putts. Romani is tied with Luke Able and Max Winnersjo after 36 holes in 53rd place individually.

Able finished with a 75 on Wednesday, making three birdies on the day. Winnersjo made two birdies and finished at six-over on the day after struggling down the stretch and playing the final three holes in four-over par.

Rounding out the lineup on Wednesday was Tyler Nesci who made one birdie and finished with a 78.

Central Arkansas, who cooled off some after yesterday's round still leads, but their advantage is down to four strokes with 18 to play.UWG trails Bellarmine by one shot heading into the final round.

The third and final round is set for tomorrow from Valdosta, Georgia.
