JOHNS CREEK,Ga. – A final round 302 put the UWG women's golf team in fourth-place at the Georgia State Invitational, finishing just eight shots off the winning score.

Teams one through four were separated be eight strokes as host Georgia State finished with a three-day total of 883, followed by Emory at 886, Bowling Green and 890, and the Wolves at 891.

Three UWG golfers finished in the top 20, led by a 15th-place finish by Sophie Dhaliwal. The freshman shot a final round 78 to post the best finish of her young career.

Sofia Mondragon finished with an even-par 72 and finished 19th. The sophomore birdied her last two holes to get back to even after she doubled her 16th hole of the day. One shot behind her for the event was Emma Baier who shot a 75 on Tuesday and finished in 20th.

Next on the leaderboard for UWG was Anna Olesen who finished 28th after a final round 77. Hannah Barrett shot 78 on Tuesday to finish one stroke behind Olesen and in 32nd.

The Wolves now set their sights on the ASUN Championships held in Dothan, Alabama on April 17-19.
