CARROLLTON, Ga. - The UWG women's golf team continues its season this Sunday through Tuesday, competing at the Chris Banister Golf Classic at the Robert Trent Jones Silver Lakes in Glencoe, Alabama.
It's the Wolves' second tournament of the spring season, but the same lineup heading to the event hosted by Jax State. Head coach Will Snodgrass will send out Hannah Barrett, Anna Olesen, Sophie Dhaliwal, Emma Baier, and Sofia Mondragon against a field of 15 other teams.
Barrett and Olesen both finished in the top-20 in their first tournament this spring, helping the Wolves to a fifth-place finish at the Babs Steffens Invitational. Olesen tied a career-best finish at that tournament, placing 16th while Barrett finished 12th.
Baier has the second lowest scoring average on the team behind Barrett. Dhaliwal and Mondragon are roughly a half of a stroke per round behind Baier as all three average 75.85 or lower.
The field features two other Atlantic Sun Conference teams, Jacksonville and EKU. The Tennessee Volunteers are the highest ranked team in the field at number 22.
