CARROLLTON, Ga. - The UWG men's golf team will look to carry the momentum from making history in their last event into the Surf Club Invitational this week, taking on a strong field at The Surf Golf and Beach Club in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
After winning their last time out, UWG brings a different lineup to South Carolina, but atop Shannon Lipham's lineup is Milton Wallin. The sophomore tied for first place at the Savannah Intercollegiate, helping the Wolves to their first-ever team title in the Division I era.
Max Winnersjo, who had a seventh-place finish at the Savannah Intercollegiate, will occupy the two spot, followed by fellow sophomore Thomas Romani in the third spot.
Tyler Nesci is in the fourth spot with Jeremy Edmunds making his first start since the fall season in the fifth spot.
UWG in one of 19 teams taking on The Surf Golf and Beach Club, and are joined by Queens from the ASUN and fellow Georgia school Georgia State is in the field as well.

The Wolves play a Sunday practice round before opening play on Monday. Rounds one and two will take place on March 9 with the final round set for Tuesday, March 10.
