CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The UWG Track and Field teams had a small contingency of athletes compete on Saturday at the Lee Last Chance Meet looking to improve their national marks in the final weekend of the regular season.
JUMPS & THROWS
In the Women's Triple Jump, Haley Trammel placed first with a 12.14m jump, setting a personal record for herself and moving herself into the national rankings. Taylor Hampton finished with a 11.42m jump placing 8th.
In the Women's High Jump, Olivia Fulford finished with a clearance of 1.58m.
Two Wolves competed in the Long Jump competition. T'oni Birden placed second with a 6.03m jump, and Dasani Minter finished with a 5.03m jump.
In the Javelin Throw, Jaycee Woods finished with a 34.36m throw, Brooklyn Kierbow had a 25.75m throw.
SPRINT
There were two Wolves that competed in sprint competitions today. To start off in the Women's 100m, Campbell Brown placed sixth with a time of 12.07 making her a qualifier.
Up next for the Men's 400m, Jeremiah Giddens finished with a time of 50.13.
UWG will find out how many athletes will advance to Nationals on Tuesday when the participants are announced on ncaa.com.
